The 2009 Concours D’Elegance was held under partly sunny skies, Sunday, August 16 along the legendary golf course at Pebble Beach, California. Thousands of guests viewed outstanding motorcars. First conducted in 1950, the Pebble Beach Concours dElegance is often said to be the worlds premier celebration of the automobile. Only the most beautiful and rare automobiles are invited to appear on the famed eighteenth fairway of Pebble Beach Golf Links each year, and connoisseurs of art and technology congregate to see them. Ferrari showed some of their finer beasts from their stables of sports cars including the Ferrari California a 460 HP V8 convertible for slightly under 200000$ Other exciting sports cars included the Audi A8 450 hp, 6 speed automatic transmission 0000. The new Mclearn, the all carbon composite 627 hp car. The Buggati Veryon, 1040 hp with top speed of 248.5 mph and 0 – 60 in 2.7 seconds. Shown for the first time is the Tramontana from Costa Brava in Spain.
