The problem is, golf can be expensive and committing to a course membership only to find that you either can’t stand the game after all or you only make contact with the ball one swing in ten, just seems like a bit of a risk. Getting to grips with new clubs. You’ve either bought, or been bought, a new set of clubs that look and feel amazing when swung in the back garden. But how do they go out on the course? The good thing about a driving range is that you can repeat the same shot ten, a hundred, a thousand times if you wish, until you get it right, without irking those on the hole behind you.
