Matt Kuchar holds joint first after the second round of the BMW Championship with Korean Carlie Wi who shot 69 to jump to the top of the leader board.
Third place is held by Australian Marc Leishman who currently sits on fiver under after two rounds. However it’s an English trio who are climbing the leader board with Paul Casey, Luke Donald and Ian Poulter all sat on four under par in joint fourth and just two strokes behind the leaders. It could have been a different story for Poulter who was sharing the lead but two late bogeys up the back nine meant that he would need a good last two rounds to find a victory.
Suprises in the rest of the field with Rory McIlroy struggling to find any form after rounds of 76 and 74 leave him at the back of the pack and Tiger Woods news of securing a place on the Ryder Cup team has done little for his confidence as he continues to struggle with rounds of 73 and 73. Justin Rose finds himself joint ninth after a 71 leaves him three under for the tournament.
Kuchar will still be confident after winning the previous playoff event and now sitting joint first he will have his eyes firmly set on the £6million prize money up for grabs.
