West Ham United are looking to protect their current squad and add some more transfer targets to the ranks. Boss Avram Grant has expressed his interest in Tottenham forward Robbie Keane who returned from a successful loan spell at Celtic.
With the Hammers yet to pick up a Premier League point and only scoring one goal so far they are looking at boosting their strike force and Grant has admitted Keane is top of his wish list if he can get the funding required from the club.
Spurs boss Redknapp has played down any suggestions that the Republic of Ireland international is moving anywhere this transfer window and that he is still part of his first team plans.
Ivorian full back Tiene Siaka is looking for a move to the Premier League and West Ham and Fulham are thought to be in the front running for his signature. Siaka is currently playing for Ligue 1 team Valenciennes but is keen for a move to England.
“I am a bit nervous but if everything can be put in place, I could fulfil my dream of joining my Ivorian colleagues in England.”
